Baumer Ventures, Inc., (BVI) was founded in 2007 by serial entrepreneur Rich Baumer. Rich's earliest positions were in accounting with Young and Rubicam, and marketing with Merrill Lynch.
In 1989, Baumer formed Venture Direct, Worldwide (VDW), a direct response marketing organization. VDW achieved great success as a leader in online lead generation, direct response marketing, and advertising sales in traditional, digital and broadcast media.
After selling VDW to Plattform Advertising in 2007, Baumer decided to pursue his passion in the fields of music and entertainment, while investing in numerous real estate developments and start-ups.

Rich worked for musician/actor Steven Van Zandt, serving in a business management capacity. During his tenure with Van Zandt's Renegade Nation, Baumer toured with Springsteen & E Street Band, while assisting on various projects, including: Sirius/XM and syndicated radio show; “Underground Garage”; Netflix TV show “Lillyhammer”, Rascals stage show/reunion, and various digital platforms.
Baumer ultimately left to work with family, producing large scale public and private events, such as concerts, music festivals, Food & Wine Festivals, etc.. Rich has also hosted radio shows and is part owner of Solexchange, a sneaker festival & pop culture digital platform.
